Goodman and Smith win men's doubles knockout

Graeme Smith and John Goodman have defeated Geoff Varley and Kevin Sheedy to take the title of Men's Doubles Knockout Champions for 2019. John and Graeme took the lead on the 2nd hole, and held it throughout the match to eventually run out winners 3 and 2.

Congratulations to both pairs for making the final, and thanks to John and Marie Bell for sponsoring the event.

The course is closed at the following times for Trentham Tournament Week events

Sunday October 20: 11.00 until approximately 1.00
Tuesday October 22: All day until approximately 2.00pm
Wednesday October 23: All day until approximately 3.00pm
Friday October 25: All day until approximately 3.00pm
Saturday October 26: From 9.30 until approximately 3.00pm
Sunday October 27: Closed all day for Men's 36-hole Open

Trentham Plate

Sunday November 17: From 9.00am until approximately 3.00pm

Every Thursday and Saturday

Tee-times are unavailable to green fee players from 9.30am-1.00pm, club competitions tee off from 10.00am-12.30pm.

Club competitions

Visitors with Australian Golflink handicaps are welcome to play in our competitions. The cost is half green fees ($15) plus a $5 competition fee.

Tee-off times

Wednesday: Women 9.15 assembly for 9.30 tee off

Thursday: Mixed 10.00-12.30

Saturday: Men and women's competitions 10.00-12.30

From December to March, early tee-off times from 7.30-8.30 are available on Thursdays and Saturdays.

Please note the following conditions:

  • When the maximum predicted temperature for Melbourne is 40°C or greater, start times are limited to 7.30 to 9.00 am.
  • When a Code Red Fire Day is declared, the course will be closed.
