Pete repeats in Men's Singles Knockout


Peter and Brendan McMenamin

Peter McMenamin has defeated his older brother Brendan 3 and 1 to claim the Trentham Men's Singles Matchplay title. The knockout final, held on Saturday September 14th, was a closely fought affair right up to the penultimate hole on the course. Peter was the defending champion from 2018. It was the first time in the history of the event that two brothers had played off for the title.

The course will be closed after 10am for the Drummond Golf Par-3 day.

Every Thursday and Saturday

Tee-times are unavailable to green fee players from 9.30am-12.45pm, club competitions tee off from 10.00am-12.30pm.

Club competitions

Visitors with Australian Golflink handicaps are welcome to play in our competitions. The cost is half green fees ($15) plus a $5 competition fee.

Tee-off times

Wednesday: Women 9.15 assembly for 9.30 tee off (8.00 for an 8.30 tee-off from December to February)

Thursday: Mixed 10.00-12.30

Saturday: Men and women's competitions 10.00-12.30

From December to March, early tee-off times from 7.30-8.30 are available on Thursdays and Saturdays.

Please note the following conditions:

  • When the maximum predicted temperature for Melbourne is 40°C or greater, start times are limited to 7.30 to 9.00 am.
  • When a Code Red Fire Day is declared, the course will be closed.
