Course closures

 Greens coring, Wednesday 15 and Thursday 16 November

The course will be closed on these two days for our annual greens coring. We apologise for the closure, however the coring is necessary for long-term green health.

The course is closed all day.

 Every Thursday and Saturday

Tee-times are unavailable to green fee players from 9.00am-1.00pm, club competitions tee off from 10.00am-12.30pm.

Club competitions

Visitors with Australian Golflink handicaps are welcome to play in our competitions. The cost is half green fees ($15) plus a $5 competition fee.

Tee-off times

Wednesday: Women 9.30
Thursday: Mixed 10.00-12.30
Saturday: Men 10.00-12.30, Women 11.45 for a 12.00 tee off

Please note that competitions will be cancelled when the maximum predicted temperature for Melbourne is 42°C or greater.

Eight women played in perfect conditions on Wednesday. Veronica Maher won with 36 Stableford points.

In the Thursday mid-week Stableford competition the winners were David Head (14) with 41 points in A Grade, and Rod Campbell (19) with 40 points in B Grade. Others who scored well were Garry Ford 39, David Fry 39, Gary Middleton 38, Ross Fletcher 37 and Huw John 37. Nearest the pins were won by Ron Winzer, Mark Fisher and David Head (2).

In the men's Doubles Knockout final on Saturday, Peter and Brendan McMenamin defeated Ian Broome and Gerard Hughes 1 up in a match that was close all day. Congratulations to Peter and Brendan.

It was a 4BBB Stableford for the rest of the men, and the winners with a good score of 48 points were Jack Conway and Huw John. Mark Speakman and Jim Dickson were close with 47 points, followed by Ian Power and Doug Hartwig with 45.

Nearest the pins went to David Thiele, Mark Fisher, Geoff Varley and Gary Middleton.

In the women's Stableford competition, the winner was Ruth Duffy with 36 points and the runner-up Kirsten Jensen with 34.
