At a function in the clubhouse, the members of Trentham Golf Club bade farewell on Saturday May 28 to our greenkeeper of 33 years Bob Dobinson.

New assistant greenkeeper Meagan Turner and course superintendent Ricky Mether offer best wishes to retiring superintendent Bob Dobinson.

Bob joined Trentham in 1980 as a member and served as President and Captain during the 1980s before standing down to become full-time course superintendent in 1989. He has become an institution at the club, and the quality of his course development and high-standard of maintenance has been a wonderful achievement.

The function was attended by a large number of members who acknowledged Bob's dedication and contribution and wished him well in retirement. While Bob has finished work at Trentham, he will formally retire when his accumulated annual and long-service leave expires.
