Trentham Golf Club - A win for Linda

Saturday November 4 was the final day of the women's 54-hole Club Championships.

The women's club champion for 2023 is Linda Marchesi (left) with scores of 81, 88, 82 for a total of 251. She was followed closely by Terri O'Callaghan on 255.

The winner of B Grade was Caroline Johnston on 278, with Veronica Maher runner-up on 299. Anthea Leary won C Grade on 309.

Veronica Maher won the veterans championship and Carolyn Garvey won the net score for the championship with 218

Trentham Travellers

The Monday Muggers sometimes organise visits to other golf clubs, and they become known as the Trentham Travellers. They may organise day trips to nearby clubs, or 2-3 day trips to more distant locations e.g. the Murray River. The feature is good golf with friends and a welcoming social atmosphere. Monday Muggers

The Monday Muggers is a group of club members that play social golf on most Mondays throughout the year at the club. Players assemble at 8.55 am for a 9.00 am 'multi-tee' hit-off.

All members, plus friends and visitors, are welcome to play in the Stableford competition.

Bookings are in groups of 3 and should be made on the timesheet by 6.00pm on the Sunday evening. Names can be entered in any available time slot between 8.30 and 9.30, however tee-off is at 9.00 irrespective of booking time.

Members pay $5 for the barbeque. Non-members pay an additional $35 green fee.
